Another way to exercise and help the community happens on October 28 with the annual Desert Aid Walk, leaving Frances Stevens Park at 9:30 a.m. Palm Canyon Theatre presents South Pacific through October 22. This local equity theatre is located right in downtown and features professional, local talent. And don't forget VillageFest - every Thursday evening except Thanksgiving, you can shop Palm Canyon Drive from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. The street vendors offer a wealth of unique, handcrafted items.
